Freddie Gibbs

This project is a tribute to Freddie Gibbs, an American musician from Gary, Indiana. He’s known mostly for his insightful social commentary and for his innovative collaborations with producer Madlib. I’m inspired by his imagery, wordplay and storytelling as well as the innovative design of his album covers, videos and photography. Gibbs’ collab album with Alchemist, Alfredo was recently Grammy nominated for best rap album. He’s the first Gary, Indiana native since Micheal Jackson to receive such accolades.
